Working on a tight lot and within an existing, aging building required careful construction planning, from limited staging areas to the complexities of tying new structure into old framing and foundations. New openings and reconfigured spaces strengthen the connection to the outdoors, bringing in additional natural light and improving access to the site, all while preserving the original home’s historic and unique character.
